Agentic Commerce

Agentic commerce is the question running through much of my work at the moment: what changes when AI agents become participants in how people discover products, make decisions and carry out transactions?

I am not approaching it as a prediction from the sidelines. I use my own commerce business and the systems around it as a place to test what survives ordinary work, where judgement still matters, and which promising ideas are not ready yet.

Inside the commerce business, I look at how agents affect product discovery, customer decisions and day-to-day operations once they meet real products and real constraints.

Through human-agent workflows, including DayBook and CrewBook, I explore how people and agents can share tasks, context and approvals without losing responsibility or the thread of the work.
